- Hybrid education program consisting of interactive virtual sessions and discussions, culminating at an in-person capstone event.
- Registration for this event is FREE for all participants. Participants will only be responsible for travel costs to Buzios, Brasil for the Capstone Event.
- All reorded content will be provided with translation in Portguese and all discussions will be presented in Portuguese or English.

ASHG Journal Clubs: Presentation of journal articles from the American Journal of Human Genetics (AJHG), followed by an open discussion. Each journal club will focus on a major research area from Genomas Brasil.

Webinar on Rare Disease: Exomes and Genomes- How Multiomics can Help with Diagnoses
ASHG Presidential Symposium: On-demand access to a virtual presentation of the 2025 ASHG Presidential Symposium, Unraveling the Genetic Foundations of Human Disease: Insights from the Past, Present, and Future. The program will focus on unraveling genetic foundations of human disease starting from the deep past, with an exploration of the present and what we envision the impact of climate change will be on the risk for disease (GxE).
Capstone Program: Hosted in person in Brasil, the capstone program will be an opportunity for the cohort to connect in person, with a comprehensive seminar dedicated to variant analysis and methods for sharing research data. Experts will share their top strategies for building a genetic database and the security measures they used to safeguard it.
